Introduction
The baton has been handed over in London as Member Anne Pass of Chantrey Vellacott DFK, accountants, taxation and related advisory services takes over as Branch Chair. Anne is looking forward to the role and has organised a re-launch event (see below for details). Over the last few months, London branch has met every month to combine some of the Capital's culture or hospitality with some fun, laughter, and professional co-operation.
Our aim is to provide a network of professional support, contacts, friendliness and sharing. Be it through a guest speaker, an interesting attraction, learning from others' business experiences or enjoying a pleasurable eating experience, we always have something to offer everyone. As a network group, the London members often speak between times and help each other out where they can.

Networking is about developing good relationships with people and we provide the perfect forum to meet women from across the whole spectrum of working environments - micro and mega organisations, public, private, the arts, education and the not for profit - you name it and the chances are we've got a member within that sector.
The only way to really find out what we're like is to come along and try it for yourself. If you fancy attending as a visitor, don't know an existing member and feel a bit daunted about coming along 'cold', simply contact Anne at london@national-womens-network.co.uk and one of us will be delighted to act as your host for the evening.

16/06/2010 Shoes, Sparkles and Bubbles!

As the title suggests, the re-launch event will involve shoes, jewellery and some champagne! It is an informal event and will be held in Anne's offices at Russell Square. It will enable everyone to meet up, enjoy a glass of bubbly and browse through a selection of shoes and jewellery from two small independent suppliers which you will be available to order or purchase.
Whilst Network events usually have a small charge, London branch is hosting the re-launch event free of charge. They want to encourage as many people as possible but they will have a limit on numbers so Anne would be grateful if you could complete the attached booking form and fax or email it back to her as soon as possible.
